Many parents who has a child that is between one and two have tried to potty train their toddler. Many toddlers have had success at this age but there are many toddlers who are not really ready for this hurdle.

You have to try to potty train your toddler when they are ready. Your toddlers will show you signs of being ready when they are. They will go hide when they do a number two. They may try to see what you do in the bathroom. Many will tell their mom or dad what they have done in their diaper. Then there are some who will ask to be changed. This is like new ideas usually. Your toddler is ready to be potty trained when this happens.

You may have heard this before and it is true, the parents are the ones who need to be potty trained. It happens to be true because we are the ones who need to take some time out of our busy days to encourage and praise our children. If you do not take the time then your child could be in diapers when it is time for them to go to kindergarten. Sometimes this is the same as new ideas. Not a bad thing if you like to change poopy diapers and spend you extra money on them.

When the signs have shown that your toddler is ready for potty training and you are ready to take the time then get it done. It will only take a couple of days to have your toddler potty trained for the day time hours. Look for the signs and if you notice any that your toddler is using their diaper for a toilet then encourage your toddler to go in the potty, unlike old diapers usually.
