The Best Way to Build Muscle Guaranteed!

August 31st, 2010

The best way to build muscle is to simultaneously add muscle while dropping body fat. This is often referred to as an unattainable goal when it comes to building muscle. Not a lot of people understand how to accomplish this, since they have always been instructed to bulk up with a lot of protein and then work on losing the weight.

The “Bulking Up” Technique of the 1980s is Ineffective

Back in the 80’s we really didn’t know as much about fitness and building muscle as we do now. There wasn’t creatine or intermittent fasting. Everyone still believed that we needed tremendous amounts of protein to gain muscle. It was also thought that eating every couple of hours was the best way to gain muscle mass. It is not your fault if you followed this advice back in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Fitness Magazines and Many Bodybuilding Sites are WAY Behind the Times

Unfortunately a lot of the writers for fitness magazines and large bodybuilding sites have been brainwashed by what they learned in the 80’s. To dramatically change beliefs and admit that you’ve been wrong all of these years is hard for most people to do. And their opinions are often very biased because both magazines and web sites rely on advertising from supplement companies, which is problematic as well. It seems like I have gone back in time whenever I read an article in a bodybuilding magazine.

Here Is a HUGE Muscle Building Paradigm Shift…

LESS nutrition-based, muscle building is in fact MORE training-based than fitness experts taught you. You can actually be in a calorie deficit and still gain muscle, something you probably didn’t realize. Think about convicts training in a prison yard and how large they are. It’s not a diet consisting of a lot of protein that’s making them large; it’s the amount of training they get. If you understand the principle that the best way to build muscle is by a heavy emphasis on training, you will be able to lose fat while gaining muscle. Simply train hard while under a calorie deficit.

Follow a Low-Calorie Diet As You Train for Muscle Gain

Usually, body builders workout to build muscle and continue to eat a lot of food. They are actually putting on body fat from too many calories while gaining muscle. What result would they experience by eating less calories than they burn while training for muscle? They would gain muscle from the training and lose body fat from the calorie deficit. Gaining muscle while losing body fat the best way to build muscle, because it creates the greatest transformation.
