An online set should never be purchased with out first making sure that the jewelry is going to come with a certificate of authenticity and some type of warranty. It is also not a bad idea to look into insurance for your wedding ring set, as something so valuable can be hard to replace without the safety net of insurance.

Arguably, the most precious of wedding ring metals is the ‘platinum’. It presents the most beautiful piece & requires no plating. It is however expensive to alter should there be a change to finger size later in life. Nevertheless it is quite durable. From the same family as the platinum is the ‘palladium’. Though they both look similar, the palladium costs much less than the platinum. It hence presents a much cheaper option. Another cheaper alternative is the ‘titanium’. These can come inlaid with precious metals like platinum or gold, or they can come in plain patterns. Unlike the platinum or the gold, it is not possible to alter the size of the titanium rings.
