What to wear
Deciding what present to buy a family member is never an easy task. Sometimes it can be a struggle to find presents for even your best friend. There is a lot to consider and I usually find myself thinking will they like it and what does this gift say. The skill is in buying them a present they are interested in and enjoy. Typically this includes doing some research first although you can usually find a range of things out by asking strategic questions.
You often hear all sorts of sayings when referring to presents especially if you are trying to find clothing and accessories. There is an old saying that if you buy a girl shoes, she’ll walk out of your life and that buying accessories such as a watch can ruin your relationship. Both these statements may or may not be true but I can offer some helpful advice when purchasing clothing.
First things first, when it comes to buying clothing do your research first. It is important to find out the size someone is whether it is bra size, trousers or a basic shirt. You should devote a good amount of time to this because if you buy too little then people may be disappointed but if you buy too large a size then that may be viewed as insulting. The next step is to look at the clothes they already have. This will help you to work out the styles they are into and what clothing works best for their body.
When trying to get clothes for teenagers it is important to look at the clothing brands they already have. Teenagers view clothing differently because it helps to identify who they are. For example there is no point buying some colourful Paul Frank clothing for a Goth that wants to wear black pvc trousers. Investigate first, you could even enlist the help of a best friend or partner by asking them if John likes SupremeBeing clothing or if he likes this sort of SupremeBeing clothing. If you follow these simple steps then you should be able to get a t-shirt, hooded sweatshirt or jeans that he likes.
